Public Education: Lower Classes Forced to Finance the Education of a State Privileged Minority

In spite of a common belief that the public education system, a creation of the welfare state, is a success which enabled even the lower classes to enjoy their “right to education”, in reality this system has an elitist dimension. An impresive number of individuals don’t even have a highschool diploma. Yet they are forced to finance the education of a state privileged minority.
